Exhibitions

In the Peter Rooms, in the former coach house of Anselm’s father’s house, an exhibition of contemporary art is shown twice a year. The aim is to discover Belgian works of art and artistic trends and to share them with a very international audience.

Below, you can find a description of the current and previous exhibitions

The appreciation of a work of art is primarily subjective. This is essential and inherit to art. Let us have deep respect for the artist who exhibits and reveals himself.

The Adornes Estate may be old, but it is alive and well, as the familyhas been trying to propagate the values of curiosity and openness since the 15th century. Without getting involved in the endless debates about the definition of contemporary art, aestheticism or conceptual art, the owners want above all to share their interest and taste for art.

The aim is to look for what appeals to them and what they want to share. A red thread: presenting Belgian artists to both the Belgian and the foreign public. In other words: local products, the short chain! Belgium has been home to exceptional artists for centuries and the current generations are no less worthy of their illustrious predecessors.

We get carried away by the artist and his subject and support his approach by offering him or her a unique and original platform.
