Summer Nocturne 2025

The Jerusalem Chapel will once again be transformed into the cosiest setting in Bruges during the summer nocturne at the Adornes Domain. Hundreds of candles and an intimate concert by a cappella ensemble Hella will create a mysterious and breathtaking atmosphere.

What to expect?

  • An extraordinary and atmospheric Jerusalem Chapel, lit with hundreds of candles.

  • Performance by a cappella ensemble Hella at 19:00 or 20:00, in the Jerusalem Chapel.

  • Cosy summer bar with drinks included.

  • Admission to the entire Adornes estate, including the "Anatomy of a Garden" exhibition

Hella

Four female voices fusing into warm, bright and colourful harmonies. Hella is a young a cappella quartet from Ghent. With their music, they bring old stories and melodies back to life, in Dutch. By interweaving traditional and contemporary music, they create a rich sound that showcases the voice in all its diversity. In January 2024, Hella was awarded the Flanders Folk Award for most promising band, in recognition of their unique sound and potential. Hella will release their debut album “Meeremin” in October 2025.

On September 6, come and enjoy and listen to Hella's voices briefly already: sometimes vulnerable and soft, sometimes loud and powerful, with an ear for the beauty and depth of the voice.
